Hi guys it’s me again, Paulyn…Know what? It is my 2nd blog (ye-hey). And today I want to share to all of you a short story about two young friends from the book “Bringing up Young Boys and Girls.” Afterwards I will explain why this story is related to our topic. Enjoy reading!

Two Young Friends

After classes one afternoon, Pepe met his friend, Cesar, limping.
“What’s the matter, Cesar?” asked Pepe. “You are hurt, aren’t you?”
“Yes I am,” said Cesar. “My foot was hurt. I stepped on a piece of glass.”
“Is the wound painful?” asked Pepe.
“Yes, quite so,” said Cesar.
“Give me your bag,” said Pepe. “I will take you home.”
“Thank you Pepe,” said Cesar.
Cesar gave his bag to Pepe. He put his right arm around Pepe’s shoulder.
And Pepe took him to his home.

THE END

Do you like the story? I hope so…haha

The lesson of the story is this, “BE KIND: help those who get hurt.”

This story is all about two friends helping each other. And I must say that this is associated to our topic because the two boys in the story are related to each other. They have a connection. The two of them is considered as friends. And the relationship between the two is bounded with love, kindness and helpfulness.

Guys not only Pepe has the right…the chance to lend a hand…You can also help others if you like. Remember that no one can live by herself/himself without the help of others. And know what, helping other either a friend or just a stranger, is a way to build a relationship because by the time that you help that person you’re creating a connection, a bond between the two of you. And because of this FRIENDSHIP starts. (n_n)

This is the end of my blog. Hope you like it.

  1. Loyalty, Equality, and Respect build friendship.

Friends are equal. Without equality, you can't have a close friendship.

Friends are loyal and trustworthy. No one can confide in someone they can not trust to be loyal and to keep his/her secrets.

Friends have similar values. Our value system is so important to us that our friends' values must be close to our own or we will not have respect for this friend.

  2. Be a good listener; refrain from offering advice or moralizing.
Respect your friend's point of view. Different personalities can complement each other; it isn't always necessary to see eye to eye.
Never betray a trust. Trust, when violated, can ruin even the best friendship.
Support and praise your friends; ignore their failures and imperfections.
Never resent a friend's success. Instead, strive to admire her achievements...thats what friends are for love to be loved
